Going potty in Garth Olwg  The children who attend Garth Olwg Clwb Carco are lucky enough to be able to do some pottery every other Wednesday as part of the Clwb Carco's activities. The Clwb utilises Canolfan Garth Olwg's Pottery room and literally can go...potty !

Drama-Dâr - New Drama Course for Aberdare  Menter Iaith will be beginning a new Welsh language drama workshop for primary school children in the Aberdare area in the new year. The workshops will be held at the Cwmaman Institute and will be in two hour sessions, the first commencing at 4.00p.m. The Course will begin on Monday January 12th, 2009 and will run until the Summer ( with breaks for school holidays) Numbers will be limited, so if you want further information, phone 01443 226386 or 01685 882299. Menter Iaith's AGM  A note for your diary. Menter Iaith's AGM will be held on Thursday November 13th in Room RD119 at the new theatre block in Coleg Morgannwg's Llwynypia campus. There'll be nibbles and extremely interesting (and short) reports from Menter Iaith's senior staff and committee. There will also be another chance to see the successful short films created by the youth of Rhondda Cynon Taf. There is also a warm welcome for any of you to become more involved with the running of Menter Iaith by joining one of its committees, including the governing Pwyllgor Gwaith.

A Big Night !!!  There was a successful casino night in Clwb y Bont, Pontypridd on Friday, October 17th when Las Vegas came to Ponty. This was Menter Iaith's first casino night, there were winners, there were losers but everyone had a great time and went home as friends....i think !!??
